Kindness and compassion are as natural for the mind as breathing is for the body. ~ Dr. Dan Siegel

https://weareworldpeace.wordpress.com/2016/04/02/citizen-science/

In this presentation Dr. Dan Siegel, clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine, Co-Director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center, and a Garrison Institute trustee, speaks of his pioneering work in interpersonal neurobiology, which studies how the brain is influenced by interpersonal relationships.

In his view, the mind itself is both interpersonal and intrapersonal, profoundly connecting people neurologically, physiologically and socially. He called for an approach to “internal education” that teaches children to monitor both their own internal world and the interpersonal world.

Dr. Dan Siegel: Time In: Reflection, Relationships and Resilience at the Heart of Internal Education

This gal in the glass still has work to do. Things sure can change and move forward when you’re living each day with gusto! Each journey begins with a single step…

You do not see your spiritual self because the real you is hidden inside your physical body. Your Soul is the eternal you that is on a journey through the cosmos, discovering that you are illuminated with the same light energy as the stars.  ~ Dr Jeff Mullan

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Coach Carter (6/9) Movie CLIP – Our Deepest Fear (2005) #NelsonMandella  (http://wp.me/p6LZBP-7s)

Everyone’s journey is different.  What’s yours? Personal magnetism? Do you want next year to be different from this year?  Return to primordial origin. Mind is a creative force from which all real and lasting power comes.

The subconscious mind is governed by golden rules of exact knowledge and voluntary exercises of exact principles are key to tapping your highest potential and learning about what will allow you to make the best use out of your subconscious mind with the least effort.

To best use the power of your subconscious mind it is evident you must first know how the subconscious mind works. You need not acquire this power. You already have it. Believe. Self reliance allows for recognition of our growth that shifts, multiplying self directed thinking and increases our right brain awareness, as our thoughts concentrated on a definite purpose becomes power. #APP

A treasured memory, as our MKMMA member Vicki shared “That moment of hesitation between an idea that would advance my business and taking action has miraculously disappeared.”

Each moment, each day, has an eternity of value enfolded in it. When we change the “single element of mind” our fundamental way of thinking, we transform ourselves and our environment changes. Human integrity is determined by the heart, not by cleverness. ~ Daisaku Ikeda @IkedaQuotes

Week 25 – applying the knowledge

True power does not crush others because it helps them see their own greatness and how to leverage their resources of a sustainable life design. But perhaps most instructive of all is the daily routine…

masterkeybrony

Once again I’m finding it hard to put my words into a constructive 400 word blurb.  This last week has been a wonderful continuation of the MKMMA… I feel having spent the last 6 months engrossed in changed in a conscious way.. there is no going back.  It is now a part of my being and I am totally grateful for that.   I am doing the work and I am committed.  I see a light at the end of the tunnel and I know now how to get there.

I have done many therapies, readings, healings, courses, et, etc (loads of etc’s) to gain more awareness in the field of the spiritual journey..(seeking happiness and inner peace).. but … I didn’t commit to the practices religiously and consciously everyday.  I did for a week or two but then the old blueprint would kick back in slowly and take…

WEEK 24 | One Truth

You are the artist of the reality you create. Your thoughts paint your world in the colors of your feelings and emotions. Each brush stroke adds your everyday actions. The canvas is a living montage of your life expression in the gallery of human experience. ~ Dr Jeff Mullan

Yes, we are love and nothing less. It begins with our thoughts, in the joy of achievement, the thrill of creative effort of doing the inner work, clearing the blocks within ourselves to the love that we are. Once we know this to be true and allow ourselves to experience it more frequently than our fears and anxieties, our life begins to change in profound and miraculous ways allowing us to always seek out the seed of triumph in every adversity which beholds the seed of equivalent or greater benefit.

As Haanel states “The fruit of this knowledge is, as it were, a gift of the Gods; it is the “truth” that makes men free, not only free from every lack and limitation, but free from sorrow, worry and care, and, is it not wonderful to realize that this law is no respecter of persons, that it makes no difference what your habit of thought may be, the way has been prepared.

When you come to know that every form of disease, sickness, lack and limitation are simply the result of wrong thinking, you will have come to know “the Truth which shall make you free.” You will see how mountains may be removed. If these mountains consist only of doubt, fear, distrust or other forms of discouragement, they are none the less real, and they need not only to be removed but to be “cast into the sea.”

Your real work consists in convincing yourself of the truth of these statements. When you have succeeded in doing this you will have no difficulty in thinking the truth, and as has been shown, the truth contains a vital principle and will manifest itself.

Our environment and the innumerable circumstances and accidents of our lives already exist in the subconscious personality which attracts to itself the mental and physical material which is congenial to its nature. Thus our future being determined from our present, and if there should be apparent injustice in any feature or phase of our personal life, we must look within for the cause, try to discover the mental fact which is responsible for the outward manifestation.

It is this truth which makes you “free” and it is the conscious knowledge of this truth which will enable you to overcome every difficulty.

The conditions with which you meet in the world without are invariably the result of the conditions obtaining in the world within, therefore it follows with scientific accuracy that by holding the perfect ideal in mind you can bring about ideal conditions in your environment.”

Truth is the Light that has guided humanity’s ship in its passage through the ages. In the history of the world, humanity has always placed the highest emphasis on truth. Truth however, is not simply a matter of not telling a lie because it is much more than that. All truth is eternal. Truth is nobody’s property; no race, no individual can lay any exclusive claim to it. Truth is the nature of all souls, and it’s the simplest thing in the world, as simple as your own existence. You become what you think.

WOW!!!! Graduation weekend is almost here. Looking back 26 weeks ago, I would have never believed I would have made it to the end. I am HERE!!!! It feels amazing and I am looking forward to seeing my DMP awaken.

So I missed the webinar for the first time this whole class.  It was for a good reason though, my daughter was performing in her last Cabaret for school.  We are doing a lot of lasts this spring. Senior year is such an exciting year. I watched the replay and boy was it a good one. Very emotion for sure.

So over the last 26 weeks I have learnt so much.  Big one for me is letting go.  I am a Blue and type A person, so this is a tough thing for me. I am doing it.  Now I am not completely there. I am a work in progress…

WEEK 23 | Life’s Script

You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself. What an amazing miracle. ~ Eckhart Tolle

The earnest desire to change consciousness is a part of human nature. To evolve, raise conscious awareness, and find love within is to harmonize your mind, body and spirit enabling the Divine Purpose of the universe to unfold, compensate and adjust to your vibration. The untethered soul soon realizes fear is afraid of itself upon establishing a clear intent, making a plan and taking proper action of your intent to move forward in the power of now, love and abundance. What if time and money were no object for you to have your heart’s desire. In gratitude, connect to the oneness and source energy of effortless peace. In such sacred moments, we may enter the stillness of our authentic selves, the rhythm of life. Be love. Be joy!

WEEK 22 A | The Healing Art

All are but parts of one stupendous whole, Whose body nature is, and God the soul. ~ Alexander Pope

Human beings are creatures of habit. Mind is creative. The art of knowing how to heal oneself and others lends itself to the Master Mind Experience offering us a whole new perspective on mastering control of not only the conscious mind but, more importantly, those marvelous faculties which operate on the subconscious planes through a more practical means of developing mental power and efficiency by perceiving the true nature of our emotional behavior patterns (old blueprint vs new blueprint).

The concept of fearlessness as an offering challenges us to see how our inner human revolution can evolve into a blueprint for world peace. Our emotions allow us to see and affect the change needed in our behavior, actions or relationships.

Opportunity follows perception, action follows inspiration, growth follows knowledge, eminence flows progress. Always the spiritual first, then the transformation into the infinite and illimitable possibilities of achievement.

Adding a Drop of Joy

By adding a drop of joy to anger, an alchemical reaction occurs, transforming anger into courage. Courage is the ability to act to correct an injustice, even if we do not have all the answers yet. It is the willingness to be wrong in the pursuit of what is right. Adding another drop of joy transforms courage into passion.

Peace Be The Journey! Mahalo sharing The Master Key Experience #MKE

Expressing abundance is a new habit (the new blueprint) that I’ve acquired during this incredible MKMMA course as I focus daily on constructive, harmonious language, feelings, and memories of Abundance. If I wish desirable conditions, thus I can only afford to entertain only desirable thoughts. The Law of Growth, what we think about grows, what we forget atrophies. Hold in mind a condition desired; affirm it as an already existing fact. Success is service. We are the Source of that success that gushes forth as soon as we let it and allow ourselves to comprehend that success is service. Keep giving to keep growing!

Haanel 15-3: Difficulties, inharmonies, and obstacles, indicate that we are either refusing to give out what we no longer need, or refusing to accept what we require (the old blueprint). True power does not crush others because it helps them see their own greatness and how to leverage their resources of a sustainable life design. But perhaps most instructive of all is the daily routine…Gratitude. Kindness. Belief. ♥ Give More Get More ♥You are Nature’s Greatest Miracle ♥ I make my own weather ♥

You are nature’s greatest miracle, and so very precious and powerful beyond measure. Your marvelous self will never be found within until you let go of the past and step into the unknown.  Go for it!  Haanel 18-10: It is the recognition of Natural Laws that has enabled us to annihilate time and space, to soar in the air and to make iron float, and the greater the degree of intelligence the greater will be our recognition of these Natural Laws and the greater will be the power we can possess.

As I place myself in harmony with natural laws I begin to intuitively understand more how to let go of what does not serve me and accept what I require and see myself gain more permanent strength exactly to the extent of the effort required to overcome difficulties. More! Infinitely more to be gained as a self directed thinker experiencing the freedom of my authentic self releasing the bondage of my conditioned self. I am nature’s greatest miracle! A hundredfold or more I can increase my accomplishments of yesterday, and this I will do, beginning today, following my bliss studying the Master Key System , to ‘Increase in me that wisdom Which discovers my true interest, Strengthen my resolution To perform that which wisdom dictates’

Gotta love the effects of the Master Key Master Mind Alliance and the internal leadership it develops. #FireTogether #WireTogether #MKMMA

As indicated by Haanel 22-24: This influence or control over the body by mind is coming to be more and more generally understood, and many physicians are now giving the matter their earnest attention. Dr. Albert T. Shofield, who has written several important books on the subject, say, “The subject of mental therapeutics is still ignored in medical works generally. In our physiologies no references is made to the central controlling power that rules the body for its good, and the power of the mind over the body is seldom spoken of”.

22-25: No doubt many physicians treat nervous diseases of functional origin wisely and well, but what we contend is that the knowledge they display was taught at no school, was learned from no book, but it is intuitive and empirical.

22-26: This is not as it should be. The power of mental therapeutics should be the subject of careful, special and scientific teaching in every medical school. We might pursue the subject of maltreatment, or want of treatment, further in detail and describe the disastrous results of neglected cases; but the task is an invidious one,

and 22-27: There can be no doubt that few patients are aware how much they can do for themselves. What the patient can do for himself, the forces he can set in motion are as yet unknown. We are inclined to believe that they are far greater than most imagine, and will undoubtedly be used more and more. Mental therapeutics may be directed by the patient himself to calming the mind in excitement, by arousing feelings of joy, hope, faith, and love; by suggesting motives for exertion, by regular mental work, by diverting the thoughts from the malady.

We can live more abundantly every time we breathe, if we consciously breathe with that intention. Every time we breathe we fill our lungs with air and at the same time vitalize our body with this Prantic Ether which is Life itself, so that we have the opportunity of making a conscious connection with All Life, All Intelligence and All Substance. This “breath of life” is a superconscious reality. It is the essence of the “I am.” It is pure “Being’ or Universal Substance, and our conscious unity with it enables us to localize it, and thus exercise the powers of this creative energy.

Thought is creative vibration and the quality of the conditions created will depend upon the quality of our thought, because we cannot express powers which we do not possess. We must “be” before we can “do” only to the extent to which we “are,” and so what we do will necessarily coincide with what we “are” and what we are depends upon what we “think.”

My favorite part this week of  Haanel’s Chapter 22-29: This realization and recognition of this Omnipresent power will quickly destroy any and every form of sickness or suffering and substitute harmony and perfection. Then remember there are those who seem to think that sickness and suffering are sent by God; if so, every physician, every surgeon and every Red Cross nurse is defying the will of God and hospitals and sanitariums are places of rebellion instead of houses of mercy. Of course, this quickly reasons itself into an absurdity, but there are many; who still cherish the idea!

Intention governs attention. The more you focus on the presence of what you have in your life, the greater the presence of that abundance becomes. Whatever you may have the highest awareness of,  you’ll summon it into manifestation as it shows itself more and more in your reality. Love what matters!

You are infinite, you are really everywhere, but you think you are the body, and therefore consider yourself limited. If you look within and experience your own soul in its true nature, you will realize that you are infinite and beyond all creation. ~ Meher Baba

Our real strength lies in our capacity for empathy with others and the action we take on their behalf.

WEEK 22 | Return to Forever

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. ~ Albert Einstein

For, just as death is inherent in all life, therefore, life is inherent in all death.

Consciousness, enlightenment, and our realms of awareness
exist, and whether we are facing life or death, we have
a state pervaded by the power to elevate:

In life, we have the Eight Winds: prosperity, decline,
disgrace, honor, praise, censure, suffering, and pleasure.

In death, we continue our realms of awareness:
eternity, happiness, true self, and purity.

In other words, life- force in the state of latency, that is death, also has the ability to manifest to form a life again in the state of been manifested. Nichiren Daishonin explains: “Myo is to revive, that is to return to life.”

In many respects, without fully knowing why, original spiritual leaders such as Lao-Tzu, Buddha, and Jesus sensed this and sensed forces that transcended nature, meant for conscious man, such as love and compassion obsoleting hate, spite and envy.

As those spiritual leaders learned, it is almost impossible for an individual to escape the forces of nature and leave any destructive anti civilization that continues to wear people down. An individual can intellectually know the way things should be, say, in marriage, business, politics, and personal relationships. He or she can even intellectually see and acknowledge what is wrong with the way things are now. But for that individual to emotionally escape the forces of nature is, well, nearly if not impossible leaving a lot to be desired and often feeling trapped.

Our wisdom and the reality of experiencing fear, guilt, anger, hurt feelings, or unworthiness are matters of energy. How closely we look to ourselves for dignity, courage, healing, or even the transformation of fear begins with recognizing our desires as enlightenment, as a compass for growth, and is key to that inner transformation from a conditioned self to our authentic self as we gain inner strength from applying the knowledge of our wisdom amidst the realities of our desires, fears, doubts from habitual thinking or the comfort zone of our own fundamental darkness.

The polarization of fear allows for false expectations to appear real and can actually determine how we see ourselves, or whether we’re able to perceive our true nature, move past ourselves or break through associative memories to illuminate the fundamental darkness of looking outside ourselves for validation and take the responsibility to reveal our true identity. Creativity takes courage.

The courage to do anything outside of our comfort zone comes with a price. That price can be a mountainous mastery of seemingly small tasks, a new facet of character and integrity. Gratitude opens the heart to receive more miracles. What we give to others we give to ourselves. Energy follows intention. The more you notice the absence of something in your life, the greater that absence becomes as you energize it.

The word Buddha means one who is fully awake or to awaken to the universal law within our own lives as the channel of the Universal Mind. The Lotus Sutra the foremost of the Buddha’s teachings, asserts the inherent dignity and equality of all people and all life revealing the way all people all people can attain enlightenment..

Of the six paramitas (six practices by which Bodhisattvas seek to perfect themselves), the first is to paramita of almsgiving. This paramita has three aspects: the offering of material things, the offering of the Law (Dharma/Buddhist teaching), and the offering of fearlessness (removing fear and giving courage to others).

The concept of fearlessness as an offering challenges us to see how our inner/human revolution can evolve into a blueprint for world peace. Our emotions allow us to see and affect the change needed in our behavior, actions or relationships.

According to the Mahayana scriptures life after death fuses with the incorporated in the larger cosmic life in the state called the non-substantiality.

Nevertheless, although it has become fused with the universe, one’s individuality is preserved in the form of seeds of karma stored after death in the Alaya Consciousness.

These seeds affected the condition of one’s life in the intermediate existence in that one experience pleasure of joys or sufferings in accordance with the karma one has accumulated during life.

According to the book that Daisaku Ikeda wrote called The Unlocking The Mysterious of Life And Death – Buddhism in The Contemporary World there are four stages of life and death and they are:

1) Existence during birth, 2) Existence during life, 3) Existence during death and 4) Existence between death and rebirth, which is called The Intermediate Existence.

THE INTERMEDIATE EXISTENCE

During this process life various function become dormant, and are stored in the Alaya- consciousness ( 8th Consciousness). These functions include the five- sensory -consciousness of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch and the mind- consciousness ( 6th consciousness) and the Mano- consciousness ( 7th Consciousness) , all these which is the center of the self- Consciousness.

When the Mind- Consciousness ( 6th) and the Mano- Consciousness become dormant, all psychological activities, including the mental function and emotional desires are converted into dormant seeds and deposited in the karmic storehouse of the Alaya- Consciousness (8th).

At the same time our physical being begins to disintergrate, and it’s energy, too, is absorbed into the Alaya- Consciousness ( 8th). In this process we experience everything different in our normal life experience.

If we become confused or frightened in this unaccustomed situation, our mind can invite earthly desire or illusion to enter our lives in the final struggle at the moment of death.

According to Haanel, most people don’t know how to pray.  For some reason they know there are laws that govern Maths, Science, Gravity and Electricity, but for some unknown reason they don’t believe that Spiritual Laws apply or exist.

If you’ve ever had a prayer answered, then under similar circumstances your prayers will always be answered.  The Laws of Spirit is are exact and scientific and will give you the same result every time, the same way the Universal Laws give the same result, under similar circumstances.

You, yourself, are a Thus Come One who is originally enlightened and endowed with the three bodies. You should chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo with this conviction. Then the place where you chant daimoku will become the dwelling place of the treasure tower.
(WND, 299-300) Writings of Nichiren Daishonin

The Buddhist Scholar Vasubandhu teaches us that the karma accumulated during past lifetimes cannot be changed to alter during the Intermediate existences but Nichiren Daishonin teaches that prayers offered by the living can in fact alter the karma of the deceased and affect the condition of his or her next rebirth.

This, according to Nichiren Daishonin, if the prayers are offered is based on the state of Buddhahood they are transmitted to the dead person. I perceive by that Vasubandhu may have stated this claim because he is not placing the Lotus Sutra as the ultimate truth towards the path of Supreme enlightenment in the three existences of life, the past, present and future lives.

Attaining Buddhahood in this lifetime is a reality that will actualize our conviction towards a life of absolute happiness as taught by Josei Toda, because a relative and transient happiness is not the way to practice. Such supreme ultimate life condition of one who manifest Buddhahood, will fathom what enlightenment actually is and what powers a Buddha has inherent in life. A Buddha is said to be able to perceive all phenomena in every life and it’s existences, which include the sentient and insentient life in the universe.

On Practicing the Law of Cause and Effect by the expedient means of reciting Gongyo and chanting the Daimoku of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo that include excerpts from Buddhism View On Life And Death courtesy David Tan Han Peng, SGI Singapore,  31 July 2014 who stated he had perceived this explanation as the most crystal clear as to his research of study and to please also refer to the Five Components in the SGI DICTIONARY for further reading and study.

How can extreme emotions including fear, guilt or hurt feelings, unworthiness and anger be used as tools to expand beyond our comfort zone? Even though I blogged before I never had to do so on a regular weekly basis, or to establish a new habit. I had to overcome all kinds of fear, doubt and unworthiness of what I might be capable of every week to do so because I wasn’t sure of what to write.

Mind is creative. I just realized how strong the earnest desire within was to be a part of this valuable Master Key Experience and its wonderful #MKMMA community. Reading the other blogs gave me some idea of what seemed impossible and how to begin to open up. I’m truly amazed sometimes and encouraged when I look at what I wrote afterwards. No one makes it without the Mastermind! #MKE #PIF Many in Body One in Mind #ItaiDoshin #NMRK

Every cell in your body is intelligent and will respond to your direction. The cells are all creators and will create the exact pattern which you give them.  We shall always find the cause in the “world within”; by changing the cause, we change the effect. Most people have heard of the Law of Attraction, which is basically give more, get more, or to put it another way is cause and effect. The biggest challenge is that what people see is the effect, what they don’t see is the cause.

When we come into recognition of the Unity of all things and that the source of all power is within, we tap the source of inspiration. Inspiration is from within and the art of self-realization; the art of adjusting the individual mind to that of the Universal Mind; the art of attaching the proper mechanism to the source of all power; the art of differentiating the formless into form; the art of becoming a channel for the flow of Infinite Wisdom; the art of visualizing perfection; the art of realizing the omnipresence of Omnipotence.

All are but parts of one stupendous whole, Whose body nature is, and God the soul. Intention governs attention. Opportunity follows perception, action follows inspiration, growth follows knowledge, eminence flows progress. Always the spiritual first, then the transformation into the infinite and illimitable possibilities of achievement. Energy follows intention.

Love whatever enchants you – even if there is nothing in return.”

WEEK 21 | Note to Self

Your only limitations are those you set up in your mind, or permit others to set up for you. Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forces his actions to control his thoughts.  ~ Og Mandino

The wise focus on their thoughts and change themselves, and harnessing extreme emotions is often a simple shift from the way people talk to themselves or perceive basic tendencies of their character, ability or purpose that determine their experiences in life.

You can relinquish that power to others or consciously begin to choose your thoughts, mastering change in your life into a place of harmony, no matter where you are now, what has happened or what the seemingly impossible impasse may be because every single circumstance of your life can change. The world without corresponds to the world within.

We can live more abundantly every time we breathe, if we consciously breathe with that intention. Your persistent positive and predominant mental attitude of life and desires is the magnet in your hands!

The growth of believing in yourself and the ability to eliminate imperfect conditions depends upon mental action, and mental action depends upon consciousness of power; therefore, the more conscious we become of our unity the the source of all power, the greater will be our power to control and master every condition. The mental attitude is patterned after the mental pictures which have been photographed on the brain; if you do not like the pictures, then destroy the negatives and create new pictures. This is the art of visualization.

As this week’s reading of Haanel states in 21-16: If the desire is one which requires determination, ability, courage, power or any other spiritual power, these are necessary essentials for your picture; build them in; they are the vital part of the picture; they are the feeling which combines with thought and creates the irresistible magnetic power which draws the things you require to you. They give your picture life, and life means growth, and as soon as it begins to grow, the result is practically assured.

21-17: Do not hesitate to aspire to the highest possible attainments in anything you may undertake, for the mind forces are ever ready to lend themselves to a purposeful will in the effort to crystallize its highest aspirations into acts, accomplishments, and events.

“Dance while you can – even if there is no music.
Laugh at the wonder of life – even if there is no reason to.
Smile at everyone – even if they don’t smile back.
Enjoy this precious moment – even if no-one else is.
Love whatever enchants you – even if there is nothing in return.”
~ Dr Jeff Mullan

When life grows dark, remember the light at the end of the tunnel…is you. Whether things are bad or good, cultivate the ‘me that watches me.’ It’s only natural to experience times that are difficult and painful, no matter who you are. Those are times when anyone would feel tempted to give up on their dream. However, if you try to avoid adversity, you’ll end up succumbing to the external environment or to your own limitations. You’re able to demonstrate the creative wisdom that can overcome the difficulty only if you face it bravely and assertively; and you will grow through your hardship. ~ Ilchi Lee
