Week 19 Sustained calm

Asheville Trip6

After almost 5 months in this MKMMA program, I am finally starting to experience a sustained inner peace and calmness of mind.  I am now being able to witness myself, my old patterns and blueprint as they arise less and less frequently, but occasionally just the same, without judgement or ridicule instead excepting them as input on where I can continue to grow and expand my perspective.  And I have been seeing what those old habits, beliefs, and thinking yield me in my daily life.  The presence I feel has been shaky this whole process, coming and going like ocean tides, however, now it is gaining strength and consistency in a way that is most pleasing to me, more like a river now. (the river of my dreams)

I can see a time in the very near future where I will only be looking back at this old way of…

WEEK 17a | The Hero’s Journey | Metamorphosis

At the center of your being you have the answers; You know who you are and you know what you want. ~ Lao Tzu

The earnest desire to learn, from trial and error, see without being seen, allows us to become better at observing our true nature, capabilities and how our heartaches are in truth, great opportunities in disguise.

The absence of constraint, in choice or action, liberation from restraint, from the power of another, and out of the comfort zone where everything is new, and can be explored for the first time, inspired from the unknown, unexpected, igniting change, weaving the old into the new, can feel weird and sometimes frustrating to say the least.

Meeting a mentor figure, may be of great importance in receiving guidance, insight, wise advice or practical training at this crucial point, as self confidence truly begins the quest whether it be physical, spiritual, or emotional. However the threshold presents itself, taking action and moving forward signifies the Hero’s commitment to the journey of self discovery. Only through some form of “death” does the Hero emerge reborn after experiencing a metaphorical resurrection that somehow grants greater power or insight necessary to reach the journey’s end or fulfilled destiny. Everything held dear is put on the line, facing death or life as we know it will clearly never be the same again.

Whether overcoming personal challenges, having direct solutions or a new higher perspective for everyone to consider, the final reward may be literal or metaphoric, a cause for celebration, self realization, or an end to strife, but whatever it is, upon return it will represent change, success, and proof of the Hero’s Journey.

Week 12 | You Really Are

Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. ~ Og Mandino

Thought is a living force….use it wisely!

The deliberate creative habit of a positive attitude is the eternal elixir of faith, the seed of growth, and the true upliftment where you begin tapping into your highest potential for a healthy body, mind, and soul while tuning into the consciousness that You Really Are. Health, Wealth, and Love.

What we do on a daily basis, as we practice meditation or chanting, do exercises, eat healthy foods, and become more self directed, we can perceive mastering our energy and feel this vibrational alignment with a broader perspective that helps you connect with who you really are. The most successful person is the one that is happy no matter what. In other words, the ultimate manifestation is control of the way you feel defining the deliberate creation in physical time space reality.

As Charles Haanel said: Knowledge does not apply itself; we as individuals must make the application, and the application consists in fertilizing the thought with a living purpose. The intention governs the attention. Power comes through repose. It is by concentration that deep thoughts, wise speech, and all the forces of high potentiality are accomplished. It is in the Silence that you get into touch with the Omnipotent power of the subconscious mind from which all power is evolved.

Thought cannot conceive of anything that may not be brought to expression. He who first uttered it may only be the suggester, but the doer will appear. ~ Woodrow Wilson

Smell the flowers? Be the flowers! Feel the ease within you with profound clarity as you garner the energy that uplifts, and seize the momentum that creates worlds! The Hero’s Journey….

It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. There are those who give little of the much which they have; and they give it for recognition and their hidden desire makes their gifts unwholesome. And there are those who have little and give it all. These are the believers in life and the bounty of life, and their coffer is never empty. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Everyone has a story to tell. Maybe you’ll resonate to some of what I write; maybe you find it applies to your own life. We’re all on our own Hero’s Journey. The person who understands that there is no effect without an adequate cause thinks impersonally. They get down to bedrock facts regardless of consequences; free to follow the trail of truth wherever it may lead. If I see an issue clear to the end, and meet the requirements fully and fairly, the result is that the world will give all that it has to give, in friendship, honor, love and approval.

We all have to find our own answers, because someone else’s answer for creating wellness may not always work for you. May we all have a seeking spirit, searching inward to nurture and grow. So forge ahead.  Explore.  Read and comment, please.  Accept whatever truths you will, whatever wisdom you desire, that you find within these pages.

When any object or purpose is clearly held in thought, its precipitation, in tangible and visible form, is merely a question of time. The vision always precedes and itself determines the realization. ~ Lillian Whiting

WEEK 8 | The Bliss of Growth

You do not see your spiritual self because the real you is hidden inside your physical body. Your Soul is the eternal you that is on a journey through the cosmos, discovering that you are illuminated with the same light energy as the stars.  ~ Dr Jeff Mullan

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Coach Carter (6/9) Movie CLIP – Our Deepest Fear (2005)

A Sanskrit Salutation to the Dawn

Look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life.

In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence.

The bliss of growth, The glory of action, The splendor of beauty,

For yesterday is but a dream, And tomorrow only a vision,
But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore to this day!
Such is the salutation of the dawn.
– Kalidasa, Indian Poet

Week 6 | Nature’s Greatest Miracle

There is no such thing as a minor lapse of integrity.  ~ Tom Peters

We are all creators, craftsmen and artist of our own lives.
We etch with our thoughts, we carve with our words, we sculpt with our focus. ~ Kim San Kuan

Gratitude – Kindness – Belief – Give more, Get more – You are Nature’s Greatest Miracle!

You are whole, You are perfect, You are strong, You are powerful, You are loving, You are harmonious and happy!  Aloha🌺💕

(MK 18:14 & 25 “Thought is the invisible link by which the individual comes into communication with the Universal, the finite with the Infinite, the seen with the Unseen…. he who has his heart in his work is certain to meet with unbounded success. He will give and continually give; and the more he gives, the more he will receive.”)

BELIEVE – “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” – Helen Keller

Character is much easier kept than recovered. – Thomas Paine

I have boundless gratitude making my heart sing on my enlightened path of self-discovery, investing in the “World Within”. My journey within welcomes the refreshing Master Key Experience which has my creative forces ignited, as methods appear, inexplicably opening new neuro-pathways for the methods and resources needed. Manifesting my heart’s desire effortlessly as I unfold my Dharma (DMP), new blueprint, living a life of purpose, and by extension, I know I am building mountains of faith, courage and confident expectation in myself as a mini-DMP. I can be what I will to be.
My experiential learning offered by this MKMMA course has  transformed my daily energy level, raised my spirits, inherent qualities of mind and character, and gradually enabled me to cause that moment of hesitation (between an idea that would advance my life and taking action) to MIRACULOUSLY disappear; welcoming this closer observation of  any disposition, basic tendency, or situation as I reconnect with the “Gal in the Glass” and the world outside my head and trust the people with whom I am in contact, while appreciating a process that has perhaps saved my life.

“The concept of fearlessness as an offering challenges us to see how our inner/human revolution can evolve into a blueprint for world peace. Our emotions allow us to see and affect the change needed in our behavior, actions or relationships.” …excerpt World Tribune/Living Buddhism.

“We are always capable of maintaining a sense of connection with others, and through this can offer moments of authentic happiness to those around us, bringing our humanity to an ever-greater luster. These moments become the living record of our being, held in our own hearts and the hearts of others. This noble inner brilliance of life is the manifestation of an empowerment that persists under any circumstance.” …excerpt from SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s 2015 Peace Proposal.

No matter what the circumstances, you should never concede defeat. Never conclude that you’ve reached a dead end, that everything is finished. You possess a glorious future. And precisely because of that, you must persevere and study. Life is eternal. We need to focus on the two existences of the present and the future and not get caught up in the past. We must always have the spirit to begin anew “from this moment,” to initiate a new struggle each day. ~ Dr Daisaku Ikeda

“Communication is an offering. When you tell someone your truth, you must release your expectation of what the other person should do with it. They may thank you profusely, love you forever, argue with you, or ignore you. It doesn’t matter. Of course we hope the gift will be received with appreciation and thanks. But if it isn’t we must not dictate. We’ve done our part, and we must trust the universe to do the rest.” “It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.” ~ Alan Cohen
